Polygraphia Office Center obtains WELL Certificate
It is our pleasure to announce that Polygraphia Office Center in Sofia has been awarded the WELL Health-Safety Rating certificate.
Developed by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), the WELL Certification comes to recognise that the office centre successfully meets a complex set of health and safety assessment criteria. It represents a rating system addressing key aspects of occupants’ well-being related to air quality, lighting, acoustics, and ergonomics.
With the growing importance of green building certificates, the latest rating comes in line with our policy at Lion’s Head for enhancing the performance across our companies’ buildings towards sustainability, health, well-being and in introducing green practices in their projects’ design, materials used and workplace environment offered.
This is the second green certificate awarded to Polygraphia, as the building is also a proud holder of the globally recognised LEED Gold Certification for Existing Buildings for its efficiency in building planning and sustainable management. The office centre also runs on energy obtained from 100% renewable resources.
Lion’s Head’s all five Class A assets on both markets have been certified for green features, sustainability and employee well-being offered in a consistent and holistic approach to operation (WELL, BREEAM and LEED). The company’s people-first initiatives in terms of promoting health and well-being of employees, clients, tenants, visitors and guests in the buildings have proved to be efficient and are always received with international and local acknowledgement and appreciation by prominent institutions and communities.
