The Sofia Metro to be extended to Megapark

One of the six newly planned Sofia Metro stations will be located right next to Megapark as shown in the public procurement notice for the construction.

This latest metro extension will cover the distance between the Military Academy and Tsarigradsko Shosse Blvd through the Slatina District and the Armeets Sports Hall and will be part of the third line of the metro.

It will enable fast transport connections of Megapark with the city center, Sofia airport and the most popular residential areas.

The construction is expected to start by Q4 2021.
